Our new production ‘Underdogs’ won OffWestEnd.com’s OffFEST award for theatre at Brighton Fringe, and was selected by theatre blogger Chris Neville-Smith for his Pick of The Fringe.

We were deeply saddened by the death of dearly-loved actor, writer, comedian and Foundry Group founder-member David Mounfield. He passed away on 14th March 2020, aged 50, from cancer. Our thoughts and sympathy are with his wife, Lynn, son, Eddie, and all who loved him. He is – and will ever be – very greatly missed.

We were greatly honoured when our tribute to the music of Freddie Phillips, ‘Trumpton Comes Alive!’ formed part of the inaugural season of the wonderful new open air theatre B.O.A.T. on June 21st in a Father’s Day special:

Our multiple prize-winning comedy-drama Big Daddy Vs. Giant Haystacks finally hung up its wrestling boots (for the foreseeable future) following a sell-out farewell performance at Brighton’s brand new venue The Rialto Theatre. Our co-production with award-winning company Driftwood Productions of Mitchell & Nixon‘s zinging, swinging sixties comedy musical The Opinion Makers played the festival circuit last spring to full houses and rapturous reviews. It was awarded a prestigious Argus Angel for artistic excellence in the Brighton Festival.
And Eliza Skelton and Friends, our event with renowned musicians and Foundry Group members Eliza Skelton and Emma Kilbey that played the World Famous Spiegeltent in May 2014, was also a Fringe sell-out and was nominated for Best Music Event in the Brighton Festival Awards.
